The creation of the complete Lehmann discography is a work in progress. Currently, all sound files are in MP3 format. Text and English translations of the entire discography are gradually being generated. |
FEATURED RECORDINGS: below DOCUMENTARY ON LEHMANN
A two part Lehmann Documentary, funded in part by a grant from the Lotte Lehmann Foundation,
was prepared for Chicago's WFMT and broadcast during
2006 to mark the 30th anniversary of Lehmann's death. Writer / producer Jon Tolansky interviewed Lehmann
students and colleagues and included many rare recordings and
masterclasses. You may hear the first hour, which
features Lehmann's opera recordings, or the second hour,
with more focus on Lieder.
