Die Männer sind méchant by Schubert, loosely translates "Men are faithless," but when you hear Lehmann sing the word "méchant" it takes on a multifaceted meaning, which could include "rogue." Recorded in 1947 for RCA Victor, Lehmann was in her "expressive prime." The pianist is Paul Ulanowsky.
