Lotte Lehmann: Artist Teacher

A doctoral disertation by Kathy Brown entitled "Lotte Lehmann: Artist Teacher" is completed and resides at the Conservatory of Music Library of the University of Missouri in Kansas City, the Lotte Lehmann Archives at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara. The dissertation analyzes Lehmann's teaching methods and her artistic influence on students. It was based on a survey of Lehmann students and study of audio/video resources. "Many thanks to the Lehmann students who contributed to the research," says Dr. Brown.
