Opera Quarterly

Opera Quarterly

Opera Quarterly's very first issue with color (Spring 1991, Vol 7 No. 5) featured Rosenkavalier drawings by Lotte Lehmann in brilliant color as illustrations to an article on Lehmann's master class teaching of the Marschallin role by Dr. Daniel Jacobson of the University of North Dakota's music department. [Web users note: the Lehmann article is available on the Biography page under "Writings".] He was coordinator of the Lehmann Centennial at UCSB in 1988.
