This site uses Quicktime formated sound and video. For all of the audio clips we use mp3 encoded sound. If you do not have Quicktime, or if your version of Quicktime does not support embeded Quicktime playback please go to the Quicktime download page and download the current free version of Quicktime.

If you are still having problems after installing the most recent version of Quicktime, try the following:

In Internet Explorer:

1. From the Edit menu choose "Preferences."
2. In the selection box on the left under the heading "Recieving Files" select "File Helpers."

In Netscape:

1. From the Edit menu choose "Preferences."
2. Under the heading titled "Navigator" select "Applications."

Then:

1. In the selection box on the right find the lisitings for "MPEG Audio."
2. Select edit for each one until you find the one with the MIME Type listed as "audio/mpeg."
3. Make sure the radio button for "Plugin" is selected and then choose Quicktime in the pop up menu.

If you have reinstalled Quicktime and you don't have the MPEG Audio listing in the Aplications/File Helpers dialog box you can create ome by doing the following:

1. Click "New"

Then enter the following information:

1. Description: MPEG Audio
2. MIME Type: audio/mpeg
3. Suffixes: mp3, mp2
4. Handled by: check "Plugin" and select Quicktime from the pop up menu.
5. Click OK
6. Restart the Browser.
